I had never been to Chicago, that is, until the plane landed on Monday, and I got on the Blue Line to head down to my new home. Trains sure to move fast around here, and it was remarkably empty, even though we arrived at the onset of rush hour. It is very exciting to be in Chicago, the City of Big Shoulders et al. Little did I know that I would be meeting someone new right away when I arrived home. I didn't know that there was another animal in Dave's life, but we seem to have gotten off on the right foot:
